I am brand new to the site and basically joined to get some information about what to do with some results I found from Hijackthis. Is this the wrong site to get that support from? Excuse me if this is a stupid question but since I have read already that there are sections of the forum where it is specifically NOT for that type of posting I just thought I would ask.

Im from Quebec Canada and currently working in Tulsa IL in the US. Really need some answers on how to fix this computer as there are several things I would like addressed. Thank you everyone in advance for any help you can give me in directing me where to go.

Hello Kimberlee,

Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Really need some answers on how to fix this computer as there are several things I would like addressed.

Could you please give us a brief description of what is going on so we will know in which direction to point you.

I have been experiencing BSOD as well as entries in the log where (missing files) are located at the end of services that Hijackthis displays. As well, I am having the MOST confusing time with having WIndows do updates which are causing the computer to be unable to boot. Requiring a re-install of Vista as the repair feature doesn't seem to work at all. I hope this helps and thanks in advance!

Hello,

I would start a topic in Windows Vista. Give them a complete description of what is going on. Please don't post a hijackthis log in that forum unless requested by someone from Bleeping Computer staff.
