Laptop keeps trying to establish network address

I have a dell Insperon 9300 that will not connect to the internet weather it is hard wired or wireless. It just keeps saying its aquiring network address. Please help if you can....

Hi -
First basic check - -
Open I.E. > Tools (at the top) > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > Make sure the only box ticked is Automatically detect settings > OK >OK -
See if that makes any change.

Yes already did that. I worked with the IP provider and they cant figure it out either. Getting all zeros for the IP address and Subnet.

What router(s)or modem model do you use to connect? Any specific events that could have cause these sudden connection problems?
