hi, got a funny problem: everytime i open a folder to view files, after a couple of seconds my window/desktop crashes, then restarts with missing icons in the taskbar(the bar lower right corner). after numerous scans and cleanings with no success, i wanted to use system restore. i tried several restore points, but every attempt led to an unsuccessful restore :-(, and i cannot open any folder without its window and desktop crashing :-( HELP please!!!
it appears only to happen(the crashing) when viewing or right-clicking avi files.
i am using xp/pro with sp3.
