Non System Disk?

I turn on one of my computer today and it didn't go to windows, instead it said "Non-system disk. press any key to reboot." what does this mean?

Do you have a floppy drive and if so is there a disc in that drive? Otherwise, where there any problems before this happened? If not, you might want to boot to the recovery console and run chkdsk /r

yea it was the windows XP cd. Installed some languages and forgot it was in there.
