Recently I believe some Malware or Virus was installed on my computer while browsing online (even with Malwarebytes and Avast running). I went to run CCleaner to delete temporary files and it got stuck at 30% and would not delete certain TEMP files. I ran a System Restore to a few days before to remove this possible virus/spyware/malware which I think did remove some of the virus.

But...now whenever I browse any directory on my computer DLLHOST.EXE runs for a few seconds in the Processes tab and then closes itself. This DLLHOST.EXE is running as my User Name and not SYSTEM.

(This is sending a red flag to me that there is some sort of Virus/Malware using DLLHOST.EXE to send personal information from my computer somewhere else online). The only time I see the DLLHOST.EXE run is when I enter a directory on my hard drive(s).

Can someone please help me with this on how to completley remove any possible malware/virus that is controlling DLLHOST.EXE?

Also when I click System Restore it takes about 5-10minutes to load which is another reason I think this virus is slowing down my System Restore process.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I am running Windows Vista
