Two days ago, I spent most of a sick day digging out from under the XP Restore Malware, and was successful in large part because of help I found here. I'm a user, not a programmer, but I've been "using" since before the official release of the first IBM PC. I've had to get my head under the hood many times, although DOS made more sense to me than what is currently available. Those were the days when you could fix a car by changing the plugs and setting the timing; now the mechanics run computer diagnostics that talk to the computers on board. Thanks for helping a geezer make sense of the new world. And curses, multiple filthy crotch-destroying curses on the creatures that write malware.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
