I am planning to purchase a desktop computer for my kids for Christmas, but I am not really sure what to buy. I am not really aware on the new specs or stuff like that. I tried familiarizing myself about it too but I kind of had a hard time. My kids will be using the computer mainly for their studies only, so what do you think should I get? Also, I am planning to get it from here http://www.thegoodguys.com.au and they kind of offers a good package. However, I want to look for something more affordable and I haven't tried purchasing from them so if you can share your experiences, it would really mean a lot. Thank you!

What is your budget and can you please elaborate on studies? I am assuming your from Australia since you mentioned about The Good Guys which is based in Australia, which state are you from as i need to know as i can direct you to certain shops that sell affordable laptops.
