The problem started when I downloaded 'TDSS Killer , kaspersky' from net, its a rootkit removing software. I executed it after downloading , I ticked all the options in change parameters option and started the scan, after the scan was completed, I saw a list of 4 items of medium risk, so I deleted them. When I rebooted my PC, an error came that my computer can not detect my virtual CD/DVD drives as I have deleted some important file, it was the same file that I had deleted from the list. Now even my sound card is not working bcoz another imp. file was deleted. Do I need to format and re install XP bcoz system restoration did not worked. Please Help Me !!! You can download TDSS killer from provided linkTDSS. kaspersky-tdsskiller.en.softonic.com/ - United States.
