Hello all,

First, a huge thank you to the person(s) who will give their time to my situation. I have a very limited understanding of computers so I'll do my best to give the scenario. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will follow up on them promptly.

Two days ago I noticed that my computer was running very slow. It was taking several minutes to load a web page or do any simple task. I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials (mistake?) and ran the program overnight while I slept. When I woke in the morning my computer was working much better and the history log showed about 20 Trojan files of different types. At this point I am still able to connect to the internet. I take my kids to school and come back to no internet. I call Cox Communications and they say that everything is fine on their end. I get the message "Windows has detected a problem with the Winsock Provider Catalog on this computer. Would you like to reset the catalog to the default configuration?" I reset to no different result. I use my phone and google "Windows has detected a..." There were quite a few forums etc that addressed this specific issue. Eventually, I came to a site that recommended that I look here. I found http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic126526.html which seems to be exactly the same as my problem. I borrowed a laptop, followed the directions: registered here, downloaded the programs, ran them, categorized etc. I did have an issue with activating the firewall. I attached to screenshots to best explain my issue with that. I understand this may take some time. I truly do appreciate the assistance.

Here's the DDS file
