Xp Stopped Recognizing The Usb Mp3 Player

I suspect that it was because it was unplugged with out going though the Safely Remove Hardware dialog. Anyone know of a way to recover it? XP refuses to see it at all.

Can you just try to reinstall the drivers, if there is any?[
