Thanks!

NOD32 is a pay for use product. You do not pay and your updates will cease to exist. I would recommend Avast.

I have been plenty satisfied with my Avast setup, it runs much better and seems to offer better protection then the previous AV I had (AVG). If you can get comparable protection without paying for it, that would be the way I would go. I have no experience with NOD32, so I cannot comment on that product.

You are comparing a free alternative to a paid for Anti-virus. It is not a level playing field. If funds are not an object NOD32 always. If funds are a consideration then the choice is made for you.

ESET Smart Security user for a few years now. All my machines have this installed.

It's easy to use, light on resources and effective.
