Hello, I am currently infected with spysheriff, I been using THIS
Tutorial, and am currently on step 11.

I have deleted spysheriff out of program filesand deleted desktop.hmtl, cannot find the others.

I CAN find however C:\winstall.exe, but I cannot delete it.it makes the error noise windows makes and says "Cannot delete winstall.exe, Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not in use."

So I am stuck here, unable to remove it, My profile has full administrator abilities, my theory is that I am going to have to delete it in safe mode?

Thanks for the help>

**I'm sorry I posted this, I fixed my own problem. For others, I opened up task manager and ended the 2 "winstall.exe" files running, and then I was able to delete it.**

sorry lol./

Hi osmoses

Look at step 5......You should continue in safe mode until you are told to go back to normal mode.

David
