<<I only got this XP CD and just booted it up with F11?! Computer is 1 month old with MSI Motherboard.>>

A review of your posts indicates:

a. You have been using cracked/illegal software.

b. You currently have an open topic in the Am I Infected forum.

If you are abandoning the Am I Infected topic...please state thus and I will close it.

As for assisting you with your format of the system...where did this CD you are trying to use...come from?

<<Failed D:\I386\asms. the parameter is incorrect.>>

See http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic112553.html

From what I see elsewhere on the Web...the error is caused by a CD which has problems...or an optical drive with problems.

I was in a hurry so i made a topic in "Am i infected" but realised that they had much to do..
and tried to re-format but ended up with that error..

I "online buyed" a newer version of Windows XP Service Pack 3 2011 oct
and now everything works like a charm

Im 100% sure that it was the pre-cracked version of HitmanPro but it was the original installer and everything
but containd a unknown variant (which no rootkit scanner found a trace of) TDL4
which also infected MBR, my Windows XP SP2 CD on bootup

Booted up with hirens boot cd and cleaned MBR, ran PARTition doctor and then tested to install again
with the new CD and all was fine
