Sony Vaio vgn-fj270 hard drive went bad, friends computer and when she got the blue screen of death she wanted to save some stuff so after going online and researching she entered msconfig and did something to the boot.ini, now I have purchased a new hard drive for her and installed it, put in the Windows XP Home disc, formatted the new drive and finished step one of the os install, when the computer restarts it will not start from the HD, instead it keeps going back to "to boot from cd press any key", I have entered setup and set the machine to boot from HD first but nothing works, any Ideas?
