I had a virus in some system files a couple of weeks ago that required a repair install of Windows XP.
After all of that was fixed, I rebooted and all looked well except AVG 2012 (my virus scanner).
When my computer boots, I get the error message "The procedure entry point ?AvgReverseBits@@YGKK@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library avgsysx.dll". I also get it when I try to open AVG. I click OK, and the message pops back up again (about 20 times).

I tried doing a repair install of AVG but get an error. I tried to reinstall, also get an error. Finally, I tried to UNinstall, and still get an error.

At this point I am thinking if I can somehow delete all of AVG, I will be able to do a clean reinstall.
Any idea how to do this? Just delete the file in >Program Files? Or do I need to delete registry entries also?

Any help would be great.
