Hi Guys,

my sony vaio laptop is running very hot.

Ive tried malware and it isnt any thing related to an infection ( thanks myrti )

any suggestion-ive tried to clean it with a hoover ( its less than 2 years old)

????

You can use HW Monitor to see what the temperatures it is at and please post all of the temperatures in your next post. Also you usually place your laptop on the bed, couch, floor?

That seems to be the wrong information. What you can do take a screenshot of HW Monitor then you upload in your next post or you use those image uploaders like ImageShack.

Those temperatures are not to bad. The only way to really cool it down is by taking it apart and fully cleaning the dust out of the fan and reapplying the thermal paste for the GPU and processor which can be tricky sometimes to even take it apart. Is there any symptoms when it gets hot?
