Hey yall! I had a weird System Restore virus on my computer. I managed to get it out using Malaware. However, my internet browser (I use Firefox) is still continuing to redirect to weird websites when I use google. I don't know what to do to get rid of that. Can you please help me? I am on Windows 7.

A pc affected by system restore virus will have a rootkit too

http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.exe

Download,run and cure the rootkit

you should free from redirects

I have used the TDSS Killer and it did not remove the redirects. I still get redirected when I use Google.

My major problem is still the redirects when I'm on google. It takes me to sites with an IP address at the beginning or "testedonline.com". I feel like my computer's HOST files may be affected by the virus.

I run Malware and it does not detect any changes. I have ran Spybots and same thing. I did use the TDSS Killer and it took an infected file and fixed it. However, when I use google I still get redirected.

EDIT: I've read a lot of the posts here and I have found some that are similar. I want to know how to run those logs so that I can find the cause of the google redirects and get some help to find the source of the problem!
