I need to do a system restore on my system because of an update to gimp won't run and I am trying to do a restore. But, when I do that every time it says it fails and that I should retry. I do retry and get the same result. What can I do to fix it? I have uploaded a pic of what the screen says.

Hi, awebster.
Uninstall Gimp from Add/Remove Programs. Reinstall the latest version from scratch. If that doesn't get it right, keep posting.

I did that and that still didn't work. GIMP won't load still. I have re uploaded the pic to the forum and every time I try system restore, what is in the picture pops up every time. I tried doing it in safe mode and tried doing the sfc /scannow now command to fix window system files. I also tried 32 bit Windows 7 ERD and still got the same pop up.
