I watch movies and tv shows using external hard drives that i plug into my Xbox 360. All the clips are .avi format and play perfectly, but a handful don't play what so ever. The ones that don't play have a circle with a line going from one side to the other. When i click play it comes up with a status code error of 80-C00DF242.

I've googled that error and it seems that it's due to a incorrect codec. How do i resolve this?

Thank you
swood
