I had a pretty bad virus that Noviciate helped me take care of. Now my problem seems to be that I cannot update or use Java.

I have a PC with Windows XP. After getting rid if the virus, I tried updating my version of Java with no luck. I tried removing the old version of Java by using JavaRa with somewhat limited success and then resorted to "manually" deleting files and folders per Noviciate's recommendation. When I try to install Java I get the following error message: Internal Error 2753. regutils.dll

Here's the link to the topic where I was dealing with the virus including steps taken to install Java:

Thanks for your help.
