No matter what I do, I cannot get registered/create a user account. I fill in all the forms, create a great new password, duplicate the new password in the confirmation field, then click "submit". The page refreshes, then I see the form is there, with everything filled in BUT the two fields for 'password' are blank. Over and over again they come up blank. I have never been taken to a welcome page, so obviously this isn't working. So I think this means I am creating a password that does not meet their requirements. Can someone please explain to me what the stated requirements mean in plain English?

Here's what I 'think' it means. That my password must at 'at least' 6 characters (but can be longer) and that I can use an unlimited number of non-alphanumeric characters, along with alpha numeric characters. Is this correct?

If misinterpreting the password guidelines is not the problem, any ideas about what else could be causing this?? I am soo frustrated! The official password requirements are in quotes below.

"Password Requirements: 6 min length. 0 minimum non-alphanumeric characters (jQuery#@!).
User name should not contain more then 50 characters."

Cobian. If I can't even manage to register, what are the odds that I can actually do a backup? I am still trying to do the steps necessary to get some help with determining whether that Trojan downloader (discovered and removed by MSE a few days ago) was able to execute any remote code. This was one of the first 'prep' steps I was asked to do (create a backup). I must have tried like 15 times and each time it did the same thing (as described in the OP). Thanks for any suggestions.

WindowsXP
Security Pack 3
Firefox Browser (latest version) -- I have FF set to remove cache and cookies up on shut down, if that matters.
All software is update to date...

I've never used cobian, so I don't know what the issue is.

That said, since Cobian is giving you fits, please SKIP the backup step. In fact, just skip down to step 6 in the prep. guide.
