I have run into this problem before and maybe there is a simple way to address it but if so I'm in the dark (I hate when that happens).

The problem is that my laptop screen is very small and, like the situation tonight and other nights - I am installing a program and I have to click "Accept" to finish up and I can't see the "Accept" Link. If I move the window I see it is there but I cannot access it with the window displayed normally.

I don't see any scroll bar either on the side to allow me to move further down the page.

Anybody ?

Have you tried hitting the F 11 or 12 key to adjust the size
Alao Holding the CTRL key and + or -
Or CTRL key and scroll the mouse wheel.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

Change your screeen/display resolution...so that it allows everything to be properly displayed.

Increasing the resolution makes the screen contents smaller.

Thank you Louis, I will give that a try. I didn't know screen resolution would/could affect size.

Sorry - whatever it was I was trying to install I must have given up on and now I do not remember what the program was to see if it helped. If (it probably will if history is any indicator) another situation arises and this solution has helped resolve it so that it did not recur I will post the facts here thank you. I have been doing so much stuff I honestly can't remember what it was - I know that sounds crazy but sometimes the truth is stranger?

Anyway thanks for the suggestion - help, will post later if get results.

Sorry - you must think I'm daft. Sometimes I do too. <_< I have been really busy too many things going on and I lost track of what I was working on - several different things. Anyway, now that things have calmed down a bit I am writing to say that yes, your suggestion did solve the problem of not being able to see the complete screen and no scroll bar to access it.

Its a trade off of problems though, (it IS always something) as the print is so tiny its very difficult to read but I can deal with it long enough to do what I need to do and change it back as this doesn't happen too often so it works while I complete the tasks and then I can switch back.

Thanks for the help - it gets the job done.:thumbup2:
