When I first installed ccleaner onto my laptop, I clicked applications and mozilla firefox was there and I notice some were checked and some weren't. I was wondering what that would happen if I checked "Site Preferences", "Saved Form Information" and "Compact Database"?

Some Web browsers (notably Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome) use databases to store bookmarks, history, and other data. When you remove information from these databases, they may still take up room with fragmented space. If you select Compact Database, CCleaner will defragment and trim unused space from these databases.

If you select "Site Preferences" and "Saved Form Information" CCleaner will delete this data when run.

It is for permissions and preferences that are set up on a per-site basis. For example you can set a preference to allow pop-ups for one site whilst by default they are blocked on all other sites. If you clear the site preferences then the Firefox default settings will be used.
