Ok, I have two desktop computers. A pentium 4 and a dual core, and was thinking of upgrading the pentium 4 to Core I3. I know I'll need to buy a motherboard and ram to match the processor. I would use the Core I3 computer for programming, web, playing games like Football Manager and more. Is Core I3 worth it? Any advice is much appreciated.

I3 aren't that bad for gaming generally.
