A guy from pcefixes called (sounded like India). said microsoft has been getting Errors on my computer everyday. He had me run Event Viewer in the control panel and I got a window names that and three panels. I clciked on buttons on left and it brought up log entries in the second panel. scolling down reveiled a red entry about once a day and many yellow attentions icons. He then instructed me on letting a microsoft certified technician control my computer to run a "universal" scan and at the end it totaled 78% system damaged. He then had me bring up their web page www.pcefixes.com" with a pay plan for 1,2,3 yr, forever plans (2 yr = $275.75) when I said To call back (after I looked into it) and he ran on like a used car salesman. Is this a scam and why did the microsoft viewer log have an error event a day when my computer seems to run just fine. Not perfect but my Norton 360 says it has no virus like these guys tried to tell me I had. Is this a scam. They daid they were in Salt Lake City. Look at their web page. Neimc
