Due to the limitations of my Sharp Aquos LCD TV and Sony BDV-370 BluRay Player I need to format my external Seagate HDD to Fat32.

As I couldn't do it through Windows, as it only specified ExFat or NTFS, I had to use the DOS Prompt to do this. However, after it took five hours to appear to format it said it couldn't due to the Volume size.

Does this sound right as Wikipedia stated that Fat32 would allow volumes up to 2TB?

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 7 to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
