Hi all. I recently installed office 2007 on my xp pro computer. When I try to start any of the programs such as excel or powerpoint etc., I get an hour glass icon for a few seconds like the program is going to start, then the hour glass goes away and nothing happens. I had office 2000 installed some time back that quit functioning properly so I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it said the keycode wasn't correct so I uninstalled it again and started using an open source office program. I wasn't really happy with the open source program so I uninstalled it and got office 2007 and installed it. I used the add/remove programs function in control panel and rebooted after each install and uninstall. One entry on the microsoft website said I need a .pip file association to read the program, but I can't find anything on .pip files. Any help would be appreciated.
