So I'm working on this machine with an evga nforce 780i sli mobo, and a corsair tx850 psu, and for some reason the motherboard isn't receiving any power at all. My first thought when I heard it didn't come on at all was that the power switch wasn't correctly plugged in; but this board has a power and reset button on the actual board, neither of which work. No lights work. No buttons work. Nothing. Any ideas?

Try (temporarily, only takes a few minutes) a known good PSU in the system.
