Hi folks --

Somehow I found my way here from the www.badware.org discussion group. Right away I used Startup Programs to get the descriptions of the mysterious .exe files in my startup-program roster. I didn't find any badware in my list, but I did find that lots of my startup programs didn't need to be memory-resident and that I could safely disable them and expect improved performance.

That all by itself makes this site valuable.

I'm a contract software engineer and I'm going to introduce this site to my clients.

I'm very glad to be a member here: this is just what I've wanted for a long time. Congrats to the site developer.
