DVD Drive drivers

Hitachi GT20N DVD drive won't work after virus removal, I cannot find the drivers for it anywhere, any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

That is because you dont need them. It is an ATAPI compliant device.
They are built into Windows and have been since Windows 95.

What version of Windows & whats the make/model of the system?
In the beginning there was the command line.

windows 7, Acer Aspire 5532, device manager has the yellow warning triangle next to the dvd drive and "my computer" doesn't even see a dvd drive (it worked perfectly before virus removal) any suggestions? anyone?
