slow ADSL2+ sync speeds?

Hi recently signed up for Adam internet ADSL2+ and currently my modem is only syncing at a maximum of 7000kbps

DSP Firmware Version DMT FwVer:, HwVer:T14F7_5.0
DMT Status Up
Operational Mode ADSL G.DMT
Upstream 928 kbps
Downstream 6976 kbps
SNR Margin (Upstream) 6.0 db
SNR Margin (Downstream) 6.5 db
Line Attenuation (Upstream) 30.0 db
Line Attenuation (Downstream) 44.5 db

i am using windows 7 and my modem is BILLION 7300N. i'm wondering if theres any way of increasing the speed? maybe its something to do with my modem configurations.
