Good morning. Our DSL internet was shut down for three weeks because of issues with phone line. When it was reinstated, programs weren't working right. I had to redo the anti-virus software, a Symantec download for Penn State students. I am unable to update the virus scans. The system says that the updates have been completed but they will not load and activate. It tries to download again and returns with error message. Unable to read error message...it doesn't stay on the screen long enough. Have run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and not found anything. Also ran defrag. Any suggestions?
