I recently purchased a new BlackBerry phone that requires running BlackBerry OS6 and SP3 on my Windows XP Home Edition.

After having multiple crashes and continual reboots with SP3, I found the fix in your forums and FINALLY have SP3 installed on my HP computer running the AMD processor (thank you for that!)

However, I still cannot open BlackBerry OS6 after it has been installed. As soon as I open it, I get the "BlackBerry Desktop Software has encountered a problem..." window.

Upon reading some BlackBerry forums, I found that I might need to run Windows Updates before OS6 will work. However, I don't have internet to that PC and tether my BlackBerry to get internet service at all.

Is there a way to download all the Windows Updates I need to an external drive and then load them on the HP PC that does not have internet? How would I do this?

Per Release Notes

Microsoft® Windows® XP SP3 or later, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7If you're using a 64-bit Windows XP computer, you must install the following hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968730.
Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or an active Internet connection
iTunes 7.7.1 or later or Windows Media® Player 10 or later for music synchronization

If you have SP3 installed, it doesn't appear that you need any updates since the release of SP3.

There is no mention of such a need...or existence of such...for 32-bit Windows.

I take such prereqs literally.

Is NET Framework 3.5, SP1 installed on this computer?
