Hello! I have two computers, an HP DC 5700M desktop and a Dell Inspiron laptop. When I created my account here at BC, I completed the profile with the specs for my Dell laptop computer. But I'm having trouble with my HP desktop, and thought it might be helpful to list the specs for this computer also. However, my profile is set up to accept only one computer, so I thought I'd create a second account for the HP desktop. Trouble is, I can't list the same email for the second account. Short of creating another email account on yahoo or gmail, what can I do? Thanks!!

One member, one account.

You can change the information in your profile to the computer you use the most.

Many folks have more than one computer. In addition, most folks don't bother checking the profiles for computer specs., so for both reasons, it's a good idea to post the pertinent information within the post.

We only permit one account per person.

If you'd like to provide specifications for a second computer, one option is to make use of your signature.

Hi bamanishus -
If you read my signature (below) you will see that I have 2 computers that I mainly use while I am here.
I have listed both of these and the common installed programs on both units.

I only have only one account, but I can log on with either computer (or both at the same time), and ask, or reply, with both units.
This helps me to view and respond to, mainly XP and Windws 7 subjects, and if I have a problem I can watch with one, while operating the other one.

Is this the type of thing that will help you -

Regards -

EDIT -
Your signature could read - HP DC 5700M desktop (operating system) - Dell Inspiron laptop (operating system) - Extra details - - - -
Or similar to the above to suit your preferences -
