I hope I post this in the right place. I'm trying to run senriska software but when I go to preferences I get the following message:

I don't know any programming or C#, but after searching in the internet I came to the conclusion that it is probably some issue with the programming language. I may be wrong.

Does anyone know an easy way out of this.

I have windows7 x64

That link doesn't work for me. Could you maybe just post the error message in here so that I might be able to help?

That's a bit strange, because I've tried it and it is working. Sorry about this. Anyway, here's an image and the details:

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

The error indicates a configuration error (best I can tell). Are you sure that you have everything configured properly? Does this app have a support page? You might be better off trying to get help there since this seems to be an error specific to that app.

I suppose it is configured correctly, although I get the message before I have the chance to configure anything. Unfortunately the software is not supported anymore. I thought it might be something simple. If you have any tips as to which direction I should look (configuration-wise), I'd appreciate it. Thanks a lot anyway.

It could be one of any number of things, or a combination. It might be that you have incorrect .NET libraries, wrong configuration. I don't know anything about the software at all, and since it is no longer supported, my guess is that it will be difficult to find anyone that does know enough to help you.

The error itself is common to anyone learning how to use arrays, but that probably doesn't mean much to you. Basically the app is looking for a list of arguments, and the number of arguments it is expecting does not match the number of arguments it has received. So my guess is that some configuration values are missing somewhere.

Maybe the software was made for an older version of .net framework. I have version 4.0.30319.

It doesn't sound simple. I have to admit that most of the things you say are Japanese to me :P

Have you programmed this your self? If so post relevant code. It could be any thing. Also explain what you are doing.... On the other hand if this is a third party app you downloaded bin it. This is poor coding and not from any professional. No application is 100% crash proof, but not handling the unhandled exception event is shockingly laughable.
