When I start up my computer ... samsung laptop with windows xp... I get an error message "fwmanager.exe"

App Ver: 2.0.6.2
Mod Name: fwmanager.exe
offset: 00036b5d

I tried to repair the program "fwmanager" and it will not stop... then I tried to remove the program and it cannot... suggests wrong file path

I am concerned that I have a virus or malware... can someone help me diagnose and fix?

I have scanned using Malwarebytes and Security Essentials... found nothing

It looks like possible firmware updater for your optical drives.

Please download SystemLook from one of the links below and save it to your Desktop.

That's it.

Re-run Autoruns, click on "Logon" tab and uncheck this entry:

+ "Name of App" "SAMSUNG ODD Firmware manager" " " "c:\program files\samsung\fw liveupdate\fwmanager.exe"

Restart computer.
