How do I know which audio compressor to choose when making a video recording with the webcam which comes installed on the computer? I find a list of a few audio compressors, but any information from an internet search about different audio compressors gives me only information that I do not know how to use. So, there is the problem: How do I make the choice?

The settings dialog has an "audio" tab, and the possible compressors to choose are:
GSM 6.10, DV Audio NTSC, DV Audio PAL, CCITT A-Law, CCITT u-Law, and No Compressor.
The identification information about the webcam gives little more than, Camera Assistant Software, made by Chicony. (Computer: Windows Vista, fully updated).

The webcam allows the user to record sound(audio) WITH the video.

Thanks, anybody.
