Hello,

I have a problem with one pc that had a HDD problem, before losing data anymore I clone to a new disk but windows works well except network

when i do ipconfig /all :

"Une erreur interne s'est produite : Cette demande n'est pas prise en charge"
--> An internal error has occurred: The request is not supported

netsh winsock reset I had an error winsock32.dll missing, so i've tested copying it form another computer the error diseapears but does not resolve the problem.

I've reinstalled tcp/ip protocol, reset everything i can, deleted winsock registry keys etc...

I uninstalled antivirus, nothhing seems bad from bitdefender, malewarebytes, hijackthis....

It was XP PRO SP2 so I tried restore before the problem, i tried upgrade to SP3... always same problem

On start firewall say it ok but after few minutes it is unactivated...

I have no more idea if you can help me...

Thanks by advance

Good morning :).

<<I have a problem with one pc that had a HDD problem, before losing data anymore I clone to a new disk but windows works well except network>>

What...was the problem?

Cloning a hard drive...won't solve problems relative to either hardware, malware, or missing/damaged Windows files.

Louis
