Started a couple days ago everything I do sometimes randomly programs stop responding for a couple of seconds. When playing games it would lock up and i have to ALT-CTRL-DEL and hope that it goes to the task manager. I ran everything from Virus scanner, Malware, and spybot and it would come back clean. But when I check the event log i would have about 900 errors... all of them would say
"The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block."

Failing hard drive...is what the message conveys.

I suggest moving all valued data files from the disk...then running the appropriate hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic to verify the status of the drive.
