Hey everyone. Due to a number of issues with my Alienware I'm doing a fresh Windows reinstall this weekend and I just realized something that made me a little curious/nervous...

Back when I was younger I used to download lots of songs off Limewire. Although I haven't done it since around 2006 or 2007, I still have many of these music files. Is it possible that any of these mp3 files had a virus with them? I'd like to point out that they all work as music files in my Zune software and player and none have the code of ".mp3.exe" at the end, and again, I haven't downloaded any for about 3 or 4 years.

Since I'm redoing everything on this machine I guess I've gotten a bit paranoid, so sorry if the answer is obvious. I just want to be sure that I'm not copying over a virus to my "new" OS.
