Ok so I recently just built my 1st gaming rig! i was very happy with it; I got around 60-70 fps on every game on ultra settings. So recently my computer has been randomly restarting or locking itself up. I will be browsing the internet, and my mouse will just stop and the hard drive light will stop too. It will sometimes also just restart, show the motherboard logo and info, then the monitor will go into sleep mode. I'm thinking I didn't get a big enough PSU. Please help, i'm new to building rigs, i'm 13 years old. If you have any ideas please let me know! :D
My specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100t running at 3.2Ghz.
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
GFX: EVGA GTX 550 Ti Superclocked
PSU: OCZ ModxStream 700Watt Pro Power Supply Unit
Mobo: ASUS M4A87TD/USB3
HDD 1TB Samsung Spinpoint 7200RPM
USB: Dell Keyboard, Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse.

That's a mid range graphics card, even the high end GTX 580 or the Radeon 6970 can work with that power supply. Have you run FurMark or Prime95 to stress test your PC? Have you rum Memtest to check your memory? Random shutdowns could be both hardware or software related.

I haven't ran those tests. For a while it stopped, now it's starting again.. Making me really mad. Should I try the MemTest86?

Memtest will check your memory for errors, leave it running overnight.
Furmark will stress your GPU (And indirectly PSU).
Prime95 will stress your CPU.
