I heard the little bubbles of internet sounds and thought things were OK. But the next time I booted up, no sound.

I recently had to reinstall everything. Now I have no sound. I disabled the integrated (I think that means on board) sound driver. It says the USB driver is working.

I have a Dell GTX620, XP Pro, zalman USB sound card which was working fine before reinstall. It is plugged in because all the lights are on, sound card and speakers.

I did all the stuff in the trouble shooter. It is possible I missed something, but I don't know what to try next.
