Hello everyone again, thank you for your time reading this.

I have an EXT cd/dvd burner from LG which I never had problems until today;
I use NERO 9 for my burning needs.

So here it is, I tried various compilations and after a while my computer freezes and the driver wont respond, I need to hard reboot my computer and unplug the burner from the power.

I then tried to uninstall the device and reboot.
No use.
I tried to use another suite (it was Koyotesoft's free burning software).
No use.
I used the image recorder but
no use.

I really don't know what else to try.

I believe that it might not be the external driver, it might be my HDD.
But it works fine as my SMART states, and also the chkdsk came up clear.

Any ideas?
