Telling Malwarebytes Run

If I load a virtual operating system on a computer and try to load malwarebytes on that system to install and run, How can I derect Malwarebytes to scan an different drive then the virtual one its installed on?

Are you wanting to scan the host drive or a drive connected to the host?

the host drive , since I running the virtual operating system on the same machine


All so say i was using a Hiren's BootCD and installed the mini xp feature, could I tell malwarbytes along with other programs to scan to real hard drive its attached rather than the virtual one mini xp is running on?

No you cannot tell Malwarebytes on a virtual machine to scan the host machine. Also use of Hirens is not recommended.

why is the use of hirens not recommended?

Ive use din in the past to save me many times.

Hirens uses an illegal copy of Windows.

Oh well i never used that part , but it does have some great features for regenerating files..
