My windows 7 won't boot normally and even windows recovery won't work it will just hang on getting to asking if I want to load operating system. I think it has to do with my hard drive been corrupt because before this I could boot in recovery mode and saw that my partition with windows boot file had a RAW file system instead of NTFS which I tried to fix with testdisk but I think I have totally my pc now PLS. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THIS WITHOUT changing my harddrive I can afford to lose the files inside

What error messages were getting before, and who advised you to use test disk?

What kind of hard drive do you have?

I was not really getting any errors it was just going to startup repair which I left for hours with no response until I used diskpart in the recovery console COMMAND and saw that that the partition with windows had a RAW format which I googled and saw that I could fix it with testdisk. My harddrive. Is a TOSHIBA MK3265GSX drive and my laptop is a acer aspire 5551-2036

Do you have the recovery disks provided by Acer?

I would say its time to buy another hard drive, as one you currently have is dead.
