Hello everyone.

Every time I connect my external hardrives/flashdrives I get popup saying "Found new hardware wizard" and asks me to install software to my devices can work properly, but none of my devices came with any software to install, so I click cancel and it says I am unable to use them. I am running on a windows XP.

Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I would go to Device Manager...delete all USB controllers...reboot.

The wizard should come up...when any new hardware is attached.

If these devices are plug snd play...there is no reason any more should be required.
