I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 running XP SP3 and a little while ago I swapped my factory ATI Raedon video card for a Nvidia Geforce Go card out of a doner 9300. When I power it up, the screen back lights but doesn't display any of the boot up sequencing. Once the screen gets to the ctrl+alt+del prompt to log in the screen should be blue but it is blue under a screen full of brown vertical lines. Once on this screen, I can use the keyboard function keys to send the video signal to the VGA port and then back to the internal monitor and the picture is perfect. It works for now but when ever I would need to get to the boot options or bios I need an external monitor. I have a feeling it is a conflict with drivers but I went in and cleaned out the ATI software that I could find. I have attempted to run a program that was recommended called Driversweeper but I can't get it to run which is another issue that I have posted in a different forum on this site. Help is appreciated. Thanks!
