I am running XP SP3. In particular, I can't seem to get Driversweeper or File Hippo update checker to run. If I remember right, I also can't get pandora recovery to run, but I'm less worried about getting that to run. They all install fine but when I go to run them Windows pops up saying that it has encountered an error and needs to close the program. I have uninstalled Driversweeper and the update checker and re-installed them a couple times and they never seem to run. Is there some issue with my windows configuration? Do I have some sort of infection that blocks these programs? It isn't urgent but I thought I would get some advise on it. Thanks!

Can you install any program? Can you Use Any program you want?

Sounds like an Issue with the Registry, or Your Security Software is going crazy.
