Download wininet.dll

You will also need UBCD4Win as this will allow you to boot your PC and copy the file across. I would also suggest doing a virus scan to make sure your PC is malware free.

Alternatively try this

Hi,

Normally when you log in in windows... you can open your taskmanager by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL together.
In taskmanager, click > applications > new task > browse
Now you will be able to browse. Put the cd where the wininet.dll is present in the cdrom drive and browse to it via taskmanager.
You have to select the option in taskmanager to show all files instead of only showing programs (dropdown-menu under addressbar)

Then rightclick on the wininet.dll and choose copy
Then browse to your C:\Windows\system32-folder and choose "paste"

Reboot.

Hello, well on your system, wininet.dll is missing, so you put it on cd you said.
So you have to browse to your cd drive to find it.
And as I also said before:

You have to select the option in taskmanager to show all files instead of only showing programs (dropdown-menu under addressbar)

When you put your cd in... on what drive is it? D:\ ? E:\? F:\ .... ?
So you have to browse to that drive.
