Hello,
Above log is not one made in normal mode.

Concerning your Panda-log, That potentially unwanted tool (smitrem) is ok, that's a false positive.
The other entries panda found are present in your Java-cache and some cookies.
So, to clean them, perform next:

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Hi,

I just reread your title in the thread again.. you say you are dealing with Spyware Strike?
Are you still getting popups for it? In case you do, please perform next:

* Download smitRem and save the file to your desktop.
Doubleclick it and choose install. This will create a new folder on your desktop with the name smitrem.

* Reboot into Safe Mode`: ( without networking support !)
°To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

* Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

Reboot back to normal mode and post the log from smitrem (smitfiles.txt present on your C:\) in your next reply.

Hello,

Keep in mind, when having Microsoft antispyware running in the background, or spysweeper, every modification there has been made on your system is flagged. I mean, also when you delete entries, they flag it. So in this case, smitrem deleted entries.
So in this case, you have to ALLOW the changes in Spysweeper and Microsoft antispyware and not block it.
You'll see that spywarestrike really won't startup again, because smitrem deleted it.

I rebooted and although the antispyware did not see strike I still have the "your computer is infected bubble". Here is another Hijack log and I see that the parts I deleted are back. Thanks

Hmm, let's take a look..

Open notepad and copy and paste next bold in it:

regedit /e look.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler"
start notepad look.txt

Save this as look.bat , choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
This is how the batch must look afterwards: Posted Image
Doubleclick look.bat
Notepad will open with some txt in it. Copy and paste the contents in your next reply.

Aha, maybe a new one here... new variant.

Ok, let's find out now which dll is hooked onto this CLSID.. that's why I want you to perform next:

Download Registry Search and doubleclick to start it.
Enter "{D81E2FC4-B0A2-11D3-21AC-07C04C21A18A}" in the edit and click "Ok".
Notepad will be opened with text in it (the file will be saved in the program's folder as well). Post this text in your next reply.

Ok, let's export one to have a better look

Open notepad and copy and paste next bold in it:

regedit /e look2.txt "HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2581581100-4246374879-3904722870-1007\Software\Classes\CLSID\{D81E2FC4-B0A2-11D3-21AC-07C04C21A18A}\InProcServer32"
start notepad look2.txt

save this as lookagain.bat, choose to save as all files and doubleclick on it.
Notepad will open with results.
Post this in your next reply.

Great!! Found the cause..

Ok, perform next:

* Open hijackthis, click 'config' (bottom right)
Choose the tab 'misc Tools' on top.
Choose 'delete a file on reboot'
In the field, copy and paste next:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\replmap.dll

Click open.
Hijackthis will tell you that this file will be deleted on next reboot and if you want to reboot now. Click Yes/ok
Your system must reboot now.

After reboot..

Open notepad and copy and paste next bold in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
"{D81E2FC4-B0A2-11D3-21AC-07C04C21A18A}"=-

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D81E2FC4-B0A2-11D3-21AC-07C04C21A18A}]

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
This is how the regfix must look afterwards: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.

Let me know if that solved the problem.
